Thanks to a new funding stream called KNOW YOUR NEIGHBOURHOOD, we are looking to recruit and support volunteers in the Stanley Area.
Would you like to be a volunteer?
Ever thought of working with young people or supporting a local community group?
- Do find yourself with too much time on your hands, maybe you feel lonely or isolated.
- Are you looking for a change in career direction or interested in learning some new skills
- Maybe you are a young person who would like to become a peer mentor in one of our local youth clubs
- Would you like to learn something new and possibly gain skills in a community setting
- All kinds of roles available to suit your interests in one of our local community buildings
- Supporting local youth and community projects as a volunteer can be fun, interesting, rewarding and broaden your friendship group.
- We offer supported volunteering positions, so if you are anxious, don’t feel confidentor simply don’t know if its for you, someone can support you while you volunteer until you feel happy to go on your own.
- SAYC offer a varied training programme that match all kinds of volunteering opportunities including a mix of accredited and informal training.
